Israeli start-up Schema was ranked 8th in the European Fast-500 for 2003. The European regional program ranks the 500 fastest-growing high tech firms from 21 European companies, based on their revenues in the years 1998-2002, according to accounting and consulting firm Deloitte Touche. Schema, which has annual revenues of $25 million, was first among Israeli companies with a growth rate of 7,380 percent over the period. The overall regional winner was the Italian Internet provider Tiscali, with a growth rate of 56,769 percent. There were 18 Israeli companies on the list. Ceragon was the Israeli runner-up - with a number 15 ranking overall. The sector with the largest representation on the list was software - with 43 percent of the rankings - followed by communications and Internet.
