Israeli start-up Schema has won the fourth annual Israel Fast-50 competition. CPA firm Deloitte and Touche - Brightman Almagor holds the competition, which ranks the 50 fastest growing Israeli high-tech companies over the previous four years. Schema, which develops cellular network optimization solutions, grew by 7,380%, more than Ceragon Networks (Nasdaq: CRNT) and Shunra Software.
The figures published today show that the proportion of IT companies in the competition rose from 28% last year to 44% this year. The proportion of telecommunications companies fell from 34% to 12%, and the proportion of life sciences companies remained unchanged at 16%. 37 of the companies in this year`s Fast-50 list are public companies and the others are privately owned.
