New Technology Delivers Increased Network Efficiency, Positions Wireless Carrier for Future Growth

LONDON (November 12, 2001) - Schema Inc., the leading global provider of advanced wireless network optimization and planning solutions, announced that it has signed a network services agreement with U.S. Cellular (AMEX: USM) to deploy Schema`s Telecom Resource ManagementTM (TRM) software - a technology platform that will enable U.S. Cellular to increase its network capacity and improve service quality.

Under the agreement, Schema will deploy its network optimisation system throughout several U.S. Cellular operating markets. The TRM platform, which is supported by Schema`s FalcomTM Spectrum Optimiser, will enable U.S. Cellular to enhance its existing wireless spectrum, achieve greater capital efficiency and improve overall customer satisfaction, without incurring additional infrastructure costs.
