Schema, a provider of wireless network optimization and management solutions, today reported a nationwide contract with a major US TDMA carrier to optimize and increase their spectrum capacity. Schema did not disclose the name of the carrier, and did not specify the value of the deal.
Schema said it was selected because of the ability of its technology to increase the existing spectrum of wireless networks by up to 40 percent, without additional infrastructure costs.
This contract is being implemented after a successful trial of Schema`s technology in one of the carrier`s major markets, where Schema enhanced the network by maximizing wireless resources and enabling capacity growth.
Schema president Andy Silberstein said, “Schema`s Telecom Resource Management platform, which includes the most comprehensive integrated solution for the optimization of spectrum, will provide this major carrier with the capacity to rapidly build its business to accommodate growth, without having to add physical infrastructure.”
Last month, Schema was named as one of Deloitte & Touche`s "Fast 50" companies in New Jersey. The company is owned by Walden Israel, BRM Capital, Challenge Fund, Gemini Israel Funds, Eurofund, EnerTech Capital Partners, TL Ventures and Docor International BV. Schema has offices in Kibbutz Galil Yam and in New Jersey.
