With over twenty years of experience in the telecom industry, Mr. Abiri brings extensive technical and managerial experience to Schema. Mr. Abiri`s initial objectives will be to broaden the company`s CDMA-based 3G products and support its comprehensive RF and network optimization product family, including the company`s innovative telecom resource management solution.

Prior to joining Schema, Mr. Abiri spent five years at Pelephone, Israel`s first cellular operator, and was responsible for the RF planning and deployment of its CDMA network. He has twenty years of experience in R&D in the radio communications market, especially in mobile communications and spread spectrum techniques. Earlier in his career, Mr. Abiri served as an officer in an elite R&D division of the Israeli army where he pioneered novel features of spread-spectrum communications. Abiri obtained his Bachelor degree in 1980, and a Master`s degree in 1991, both with honors from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at Tel-Aviv University.
