Schema, a provider of network optimization software solutions, has announced that it signed a network optimization agreement valued at close to US$1 million with an un-named North American wireless service provider. Under the agreement, the operator will deploy Schema`s Mentor, OptiPlanner and Forte network optimization products. In addition, Schema will provide maintenance, training, and support services.
This is Schema`s second major optimization agreement with a major North American wireless service provider in less than a month.
With Mentor, Schema`s most recently announced product, the operator will use mobile measurements generated from subscribers` handsets. The data collected will reflect the network quality from the end-user`s point of view, identifying high-traffic data and voice usage hot-spots as well as areas of service degradation.
